Feeling the significance of the competition and the enthusiastic spirit of the students, TechK has accompanied the Department of Mechanical - Electrical - Electronic - Automotive Engineering to provide more motivation and support with the desire to create a truly useful playground for the students.
This year's Robotics competition is designed based on the Robocon competition, with a reduced-scale model and redesigned to suit the students. After more than 3 months of launching, the competition has received a lot of positive feedback from students who are passionate about robots and automation. The competition has attracted 27 registered teams, with each team consisting of 3 to 5 members from all grades from the first to the final year, and received many contest entries with special styles and diverse creative ideas.

After passing the preliminary round, the organizers found 16 qualified teams to participate in the Robotics 2019 competition with a total of over 100 students. The quarter finals took place on the morning of July 4th and selected the strongest 8 teams to advance to the semifinals and finals on the same day. In the semifinals, the teams prepared carefully with unique and creative designs using materials such as mica plastic, aluminum structures, foam, and even 3D printing. The gripping, releasing, shooting mechanisms used compressed air principles, elastic strings, shooting, throwing... were very diverse and varied. The main technologies used included Arm control chips, compressed air, RC servo motors, DC motors, and Robot control via mobile phones. Some teams used 3D printing to produce robots entirely, asserting their CAD / CAM skills. The teams competed and 4 teams advanced to the final including Transformer, LaB Techart, Advanced Robotics, and NTTU-Blackberry.

The competition has brought many practical values to the participating students. This is a great opportunity for students to improve their knowledge in a professional and effective way. Through the combination of theory and practice, students can enhance their skills in repairing errors, optimizing design and operating robots to achieve the highest efficiency. The competition is also a place for students to exchange, learn from each other, and develop their leadership and communication skills.
To encourage the spirit of learning and creativity, the teams that achieve first, second, and third prizes will be awarded a scholarship for one CAD/CAM/CNC course of their choice at TechK Education, valued at 3,500,000 VND/course, along with one international Solidworks certificate exam valued at 99 USD for each member of the team. All of these will add fuel to the passion of the students, while helping them access the latest technologies and develop themselves comprehensively.
